- Savuti Campsite:
- Location: Savuti Campsite is located in the central part of the park, near the Savuti Channel.
- Facilities: This campsite provides basic facilities, including pit toilets and showers with cold water. There is no electricity, but there is a communal fireplace.
- Highlights: Savuti is renowned for its predator sightings, including lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. The area around the Savuti Marsh is also a birdwatcher’s paradise.
- Linyanti Campsite:
- Location: Linyanti Campsite is situated in the northern part of Chobe National Park, near the Linyanti River.
- Facilities: It offers basic amenities such as pit toilets and cold-water showers. There are no electrical hookups or shops nearby.
- Highlights: Linyanti is known for its remote and tranquil setting, offering excellent birdwatching opportunities and the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants and buffalo.
- Serondela Campsite (also known as Kasane Forest Reserve Campsite):
- Location: This campsite is located near Kasane, just outside the northeastern border of Chobe National Park.
- Facilities: It provides basic facilities, including pit toilets and showers with cold water. There is a communal fireplace and a small shop nearby.
- Highlights: Serondela is a convenient option for those who want to be close to Kasane town and the Chobe River. It’s a good base for game drives and boat safaris in the park.
- Public Campsites:
- In addition to the designated campsites, there are also public campsites available within Chobe National Park. These sites are often more primitive, with fewer facilities, and may require advance booking.
